One of nation’s premier equine breeding centers is nestled in central Texas, with its owner still going strong after a half century.
Dr. Charles Graham is the founder and owner of Southwest Stallion Station in Elgin, Texas. He knew from an early age his live with revolve around the equine industry.
“I wasn’t interested in no history class or geography class. I’d put me a cattleman’s magazine or Quarter Horse Journal in there and act like I was studying,” he said.
Dr. Graham is known throughout Texas for breeding horses for speed and agility. His business has expanded to include cattle and several other aspects of agriculture.
