That’s A Wrap! North Carolina is done with corn planting this year

North Carolina appears to be the first state to wrap up corn planting this year!

That is according to the final Crop Progress Report for May released this week. With planting wrapped up for the crop, growing conditions are also looking good.

91% of corn in the state has already emerged with 15% rating excellent and 63% rating good.
