Legislation is being reintroduced to restrict 45Z tax credit eligibility to renewable fuels made only from domestic feedstocks. It also aims to extend the credit to ten years, allowing time to build needed infrastructure.
It is being led by Senator Roger Marshall of Kansas.
Sen. Marshall spoke with RFD-TV’s Suzanne Alexander about what the Farmer First Fuel Incentive Act aims to do, how it will boost energy production, and next steps for the legislation.
