The latest census of agriculture data has just been released and we are bringing you some of the highlights.
The data, collected over the year 2022, showed 1.9 million farms and ranches nationwide, which is down 7 percent from the last check in 2017. However, on fewer farms, America’s producers are doing more!
With the most recent census shows U.S. production of $543 billion dollars of ag products compared to $389 billion in 2017.
Data revealed the average age of our producers at 58 years old.
