A much-needed break from severe weather is on the way for most of the Corn Belt.
The ridge bringing high temperatures currently in the west is expected to moving east, raising temperatures in the northern Midwest.
Luckily, the U.S. Corn Belt is in really good shape in terms of soil moisture with some areas actually seeing excess moisture and flooding damage in isolated areas.
Severe weather leaving the Midwest is making its way south with strong storms expected especially in the state of Alabama.
