Mike Fly is an agriculture professor at the University Tennessee, but he also knows a thing or two about shooting a basketball. Fly teaches a first year course called “The Physics, Biomechanics, Psychology, Statistics, and Geometry of Basketball Shooting.” Mark Fly once made 136 free throws in a row himself.

Fly said this in regard to shooting basketball: “It takes hard work, persistence and attention to detail,” which means that practicing free throws can be a metaphor for anything in life – including agriculture.
