This will be one ‘sticky’ investigation

The Internal Trade Commission will look into U.S. honey imports.

It voted unanimously to approve a commerce department investigation. It could ultimately lead to high anti-dumping duties on $300 million dollars worth of honey.

The largest foreign supplier is Argentina. Two U.S. trade groups want duties as high as 50 percent. They are seeking even higher duties on imports from Brazil, India, Ukraine, and Vietnam.
