U.S. Custom Harvesters are calling for an overhaul to the seasonal H-2A Visa Worker Program, citing the need to alleviate labor shortages. They say revisions to the program have made it harder to hire employees.
Ryan Haffner spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander about how important H-2A employees are to his operation, the challenges he has seen with the program, and if he sees the Farm Workforce Modernization Act helping to alleviate the situation.
