U.S. tractor sales were up 15 percent over May of 2019, according to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer’s Flash Report.
For May, two-wheel drive smaller tractors were up 19 percent while and 40 & under 100 HP were up a total of 11 percent. Two-wheel drive 100+ HP were down 17 percent and four-wheel tractors were down 12 percent.
Combine sales were down about 3 percent in May and are down about 10 percent for the year.
On the other hand, tractor sales are up about 4 percent year-over-year.
