UNL has introduced a new program to grow the number of veterinarians serving the livestock industry

With disaster comes the need for veterinarians, but ag communities across the nation are facing a shortage of them.
A new scholarship program at UNL aims to grow the number of livestock veterinarians while providing unique educational opportunities.

Dean of UNL’s College of Ag Sciences and Natural Resources, Tiffany Heng-Moss spoke with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender on the program, what students will take away from it, and the long-term goal.
