In Arkansas, the Unused Pesticide Collection Program is helping farmers dispose of unwanted and unused chemicals. This program follows EPA guidelines to properly dispose of “ag use only” pesticides, so that it does not hurt the environment.
Susie Nichols, the director of the Pesticide Section in Arkansas, states, “This program has been very beneficial to the environment.”
