Upcycling can benefit beef producers

Beef producers focus on raising quality meat through sustainable methods and some ranchers are turning to upcycling, a practice growing in popularity.

Under the methods, cattle graze on pastureland unfit for raising crops, and consume plants that humans cannot digest. The practice turns natural resources into high quality protein, while conserving the environment.

According to Rabobank analyst, Don Close, producers should up cycle now to lower emission later.
