Update to Canada’s ag production forecast as harvest is underway

As harvest begins in parts of Canada, Agriculture Canada has updated its production forecasts.

Shaun Haney, host of RealAg Radio, speaks with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison on the details of the update. “Ag Canada is now projecting larger durum, spring leaf, and barley crops compared to just a month ago... oats, flats, corn, soybeans and all specialty crops were unchanged from last month,” Haney notes. “On the durum crop, it’s now seeing a 6.5 million tons, which is up 500 thousand from July.”
