The US Government is postponing the April 15 tax payment deadline for most Americans due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the IRS will waive interest and penalties as well, using authority under President Trump’s national emergency declaration.

According to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, the delay is available to people who owe less than $1 million and corporations that owe less than $10 million.
