The U.S. Cattlemen’s Association sends letters to the USDA, and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, asking them to create a “transparency summit” for cattle industry stakeholders.
The group wants the meeting to address concerns related to price transparency and true price discovery, in response to the fire at a Kansas beef processing facility.
