USDA is looking to help current and former service members prepare for a career in agriculture. It is an effort to help farm labor shortages and give a hand to those who have served our country.
They are hosting a free webinar series for military vets, transitioning members, and military spouses. It is designed to give information about the Department’s beginning farmer and rancher programs. Topics range from veteran business outreach to beginner programs, and information about FSA loans.
Local USDA service centers will have more information, and you can click HERE to learn about other beginning farmer programs.
