From funding broadband deployment to providing technical assistance and training for small businesses, USDA Rural Development works to enhance life for rural residents across the country.

State director for USDA Rural Development in Pennsylvania, Curt Coccodrilly speaks with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison on Community Connect Grants, Rural Business Development Grants, and the Rural Energy for America Program. “The good thing about them [Community Connect Grants] is that they’re up to $3 million dollars. The program will fund broadband deployment in rural communities where it is not yet economically viable for private sector providers to do it or service.”
