USDA launches new Instagram account to promote the U.S. food industry in Brazil. In Brazil, 80 percent of Instagram users say they have been digitally influenced on what they buy at the grocery store. As a result, USDA’s Foreign Ag Service created the account @usfoodexperience to get more information about U.S. foods to Brazilian consumers. The account has started highlighting chocolate chip cookies, clam chowder, and white wine on the digital medium.
So far, the account has racked up over 10,000 followers and counting.
