USDA’s Undersecretary for Trade will lead a trade mission to Japan this week

This week, USDA Undersecretary for Trade Alexis Taylor is in Japan for an ag trade mission where she will meet with potential buyers, trade experts, and conduct site visits.

Taylor will be joined by a large delegation representing more than 30 companies in the U.S. ag sector. Japan is the fourth-largest market for U.S. ag exports, and last year’s sales totaled $14.6 billion with shipments including dairy and soybeans.

The trade mission is taking place through Thursday.
