Vegetarians say they aren’t pleased with the alternative meat market

Vegetarians are not happy with the alternative meat market.

A new poll by food industry group Ingredient Communications found the number of vegetarians satisfied with the choice of food products available has dropped by almost half since 2018.

56 percent say they thought plant-based meat products looked tasty. Meanwhile, vegans say their satisfaction has increased from 2 percent in 2018 to 17 percent today, saying 95 percent of plant-based meat products look tasty.
