Vomitoxin reports are being seen in the Ohio River Valley

Reports of vomitoxin are popping up as harvest continues in the eastern Corn Belt.

Sam Hudson with Corn Belt Marketing told Brownfield Ag News that there have been several reports in the Ohio River Valley.
He also said that depending on levels, the impacted grain could lead to some displacement for feed.

He expects the toxin could become an even bigger issue in the area when harvest returns following rain and snow delays.
