WATCH: Dan Rogers honors Dolly Parton at the Grand Ole Opry

On Saturday, the Grand Ole Opry had a special night honoring the legacy of Dolly Parton.

Dolly’s relationship with the Grand Ole Opry began in 1959, when Johnny Cash introduced the 13-year-old singer as “a little girl from East Tennessee.” She performed George Jones’ “You Gotta Be My Baby” that night and earned three encores—an early glimpse of the remarkable career ahead.
