Wearable technology is gaining traction and making the agriculture workplace safer.

According to agriculture.com, devices that help monitor heat and noise levels in feed yards are gaining steam. While there are some privacy concerns, the technology can offer life-saving alerts but only if farmers listen to the warnings.

They add employee-worn sensors can send data to employers, alerting them to things like individual heat index, noise exposure, poor air quality, falls, and repetitive motions that injure.
