West Virginia poultry farmer installs record-breaking solar panels on his operation

A West Virginia poultry producer has made a record-breaking addition to its production.

Oak Tree Farm recently installed 1,400 solar panels at their poultry facility which, according to the manufacturer, is the largest system in the state. Builders say the project will give the farm nearly a million-kilowatt hours of energy per year and will reduce grid charges by 10 percent.
