Ask any farmer and they will likely tell you the cab of their tractor is their office.
Leaders at CNH say it is something they keep in mind with every cab they design.
“When you imagine sitting in that cab, and I sit in that cab a lot, I’ve got my display right up here with all my technology data - I’ve got my controls, I can power my implements, I can power my tractor. This is truly where the technology, the implement, and the tractor come together, and this is where the operator really manages those functions. It all comes together in the magnum tractor,” said Joe Miller.
Miller says each tractor designed for North America was built with that in mind. He says farmers are always making on-the-fly decisions, and a lot of those are made from the comfort of the cab.
Under the proposed settlement, Deere will be required for the next 10 years to provide farmers and independent repair providers with the same repair resources and software capabilities currently available to its authorized dealers.
