The largest landowner in America has been named.
The Land Report 100 revealed Red Emmerson is the largest landowner, owning more than 2.4 million acres in California, Oregon, and Washington. Emmerson and his family own a timber products company.
He surpassed Liberty Media Chairman John Malone’s 2.2 million acres, and CNN Founder Ted Turner is America’s third-biggest landowner with 2 million acres.
