Winter weather advisories are in effect, hunker down your herd

Several winter weather advisories are in effect for the northern part of the U.S. today so be sure to hunker down your herd.

The National Weather Service is predicting up to three inches of snow in Iowa and wind gusts in the area are expected to get as strong as 35 miles an hour.

In central Wisconsin, snow is expected to start midday today and continue through tomorrow morning. Up to four inches is expected there.

A wind chill warning is still in effect in South Dakota, as the forecast has the wind falling as low as -45 degrees Fahrenheit.
