With the decline HPAI cases, your Thanksgiving dinner will be cheaper this year

Your Thanksgiving dinner will likely cost less this year, that is good news coming from the American Farm Bureau.

The latest market intel report shows that the average price for an 8-16 pound bird at $1.27 per pound, which is down 22 percent from last year. AFBF says that it is thanks to a drop in high path avian flu cases giving the turkey population a chance to recover.
