A California woman has been found guilty on two counts of animal abuse by neglect involving a dog and a horse KTLA 5 reports.
62-year-old Susan Violet Guillot was convicted of two counts of abusing animals by neglect involving her dog Karma and her horse Sweetie.
In a search in March of 2017, officials found several animals living in filthy and dangerous conditions.
Investigators found animals living both inside and out of the home, in trash-filled pens, with no drinking water.
Karma, the owner’s dog made a full recovery, but the horse, sweetie succumbed to her injuries.
