Concern continues in the U.S. over shipping bottlenecks in west coast ports. The pile-up is offsetting the import-export balance, as filled containers sit idle, incurring fees and risking spoilage.
Managing partner for Meridian Growers, Jim Zion speaks with RFD-TV’s own on the impact the bottleneck is having on his business, contributing factors, and when it might be resolved.
“There are still over 21 to 25 ships off the coast of Los Angeles waiting to be unloaded, that means there is a shortage of equipment for us to be able to ship back product...” Zion explains.
