JBS will pay nearly $13 million dollars to settle a second pork anti-trust lawsuit.
The suit was filed by restaurants and retailers who claim JBS conspired to fix pork prices starting in 2009.
The agreement, approved by a federal judge, releases JBS and prevents the plaintiffs from filing further legal action against the processor. The same judge approved a similar agreement last summer in which JBS paid $20 million dollars to restaurants, delis, and other indirect buyers.
