Women weren’t involved in the historic FFA organization until 1969. Fast forward to 2016 and the FFA now boasts 629,367 FFA members in 7,757 chapters throughout the U.S. In addition, almost 47% of females hold approximately 50% of the state leadership positions. In 2016, five of the six national officers were young women. Join Marji and these extraordinary young leaders at the National FFA Headquarters in Indianapolis and then head to the “urban field” as they visit a local high school.
