2023 Arkansas net farm income down nearly $1 billion dollars from last year

Turning our attention to Arkansas agriculture, the state is experiencing a nearly $1 billion dollar decline in net farm income for 2023, which is mainly due to declines in crop and livestock receipts, along with direct government payments.

University of Arkansas Extension Economist, Hunter Biram spoke with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender on highlights from the state, contributing factors, and his big takeaways.
