A bill has been introduced in Congress to block a federal rule that would create a speed limiter mandate on commercial trucks.

It is receiving support from the trucking industry, which has underscored the negative impact such mandates would have on agriculture.

Lewie Pugh with the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association spoke with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender on the ripple effects of a speed limiting mandate, how the DRIVE Act would benefit agriculture, and next steps.
