After 100 years in the family, this Texas legacy ranch has hit the market

The Johnson Legacy River Ranch is located an hour from Fredericksburg, Texas, and sits on the bank of the Llano River. The ranch is almost 865 acres.

It has been in the same family for more than 100 years and is now on the market. Anders Ranch Realty is handling the $20 million dollar listing.

The original 1923 farmhouse is still standing on the property, a three-bed and two-bath that has been modernized. The property also has a barn and a few storage sheds.
If the purchase of the whole ranch for $20,180,000 dollars is too much, the sellers are offering to divide up portions.

A quote from the listing states: “The Johnson Legacy River Ranch is a premier live water ranch... This gorgeous, diverse Texas Hill Country property is ideally located 50 minutes from historic Fredericksburg, 40 minutes from Horseshoe Bay, 1.5 hours from Austin, and 12 minutes from Llano... a diverse mixture of mature oak and pecan tree cover, scattered tillable pastures, stunning granite rock formations, deep loamy soil, distant panoramic views, and fantastic hunting, this exceptional river property is perfect for a family recreational ranch or full-time residence.”
