Thirty minutes outside of Houston sits Tigner Ranch. The Tigner family has had this property for 147 years and has decided to put it up for sale.

The property is 647 acres and has a section of the Brazos River running through it. It is perfect for livestock. “The land comes with an agriculture exemption so purchases made to produce agricultural products raised or harvested to sell are sales tax exempt,” according to CHRON.

It is currently listed at $8,880,570 dollars.

The family is closely linked to the city of Houston. One of the members was involved in the original charter of the city.

As stated in the property description: “The historical Tigner Ranch has the location, size, and beauty to be such a rare property... The rich history of the property, the family that owns it and their influence in the area and Houston add to the interest and desirability of the property.”
Ruple Properties is currently handling the listing.
