According to Jean Payne, the president of the Illinois Fertilizer and Chemical Association, fertilizer, seed, and chemical supplies are in good shape for the spring season. She goes on to say that the only foreseeable issue will be in the resupply after initial applications, thus farmers need to have proper communication with their ag retailers.
When it comes to dairy, the International Dairy Foods Association says that there will be no immediate disruption to the supply chain.
