Ag Commissioner Sid Miller helping address rural mental health with AgriStress Hotline

Those in working agriculture often face an increased risk of suicide and mental health challenges. That is why the Texas Department of Ag is sponsoring an AgriStress Helpline for farmers and ranchers struggling with mental health issues.

Texas Commissioner of Ag, Sid Miller spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander on the mental health stigma facing agriculture, what the helpline does, and the importance of mental health resources.
