Ag workers in some states will still have to wait for their COVID vaccination

A handful of states are still not vaccinating food workers for COVID-19.

As of Monday, farmworkers, meatpackers, and grocery workers were eligible to get the shots in 46 states, but restaurant employees were only eligible in 44.

The Fern collected data from state health departments. Some states have prioritized age groups with underlying medical issues over food and ag employees. They will be eligible when all adults are eligible.
