NEW YORK, N.Y. (RFD News) — More farmers are using artificial intelligence for everyday farm decisions, but most still rely on trusted advisors.
A new McKinsey survey found 17% of farmers worldwide are using generative AI for farm-related tasks, rising to 23% in North America. The technology can provide quick access to information, including agronomic advice and options for managing the farm.
However, only 6% of farmers say they trust AI to help make farm decisions, compared with 56% who rely on traditional agronomists.
