SASSR 2023_1280

First held in 1950, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo has grown into one of the most renowned rodeos in the country, winning the Large Indoor Rodeo of the Year for the first time in 2005 and recognized by the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in 2008.

San Antonio features 17 days of action in the AT&T Center’s first-class arena, and only the top athletes in the PRCA and WPRA standings are eligible to compete, vying for over $1 million in prize money. In 2019, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo introduced Breakaway Roping to its lineup of events, showcasing two full rounds and a short-go for female ropers.

The single contestant who earns the most money across events by the end of the finals wins the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo all-around title.
