Asparagus recipe found in Belgium’s legal database

A local lawyer discovered cooking instructions for ‘au asparagus gratin,’ a traditional side dish on a hub for legal documents. The lawyer said he found the full recipe copy and pasted buried among medical product pricing laws. He captured the find on his twitter.


The recipe included 6 steps to baking the hearty veggie with cream, tomato puree
and cheese. The instructions even include how to peel and rinse the asparagus. It even included what temperature to set the oven at.


A rep for the site says the mistake as already been corrected in the database.
