At the Indy 500, winning drivers chug milk in victory!

The 108th annual Indianapolis 500 is now in the books, and it is known for toasting the dairy industry.

We are used to seeing the traditional champagne shower when the driver wins, but for this race, one of the biggest traditions is giving the winning driver an ice-cold glass bottle of milk!

Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s Donald Davidson says the tradition goes back almost a century but it took a while for it to stick.
