Attacking a Livelihood: Sheep producers look to secure a trade investigation on imported lamb

Producers are calling for immediate action to protect their livelihoods as the industry continues to investigate imported lamb.

The American Sheep Industry Association says a surge in imported lamb undermines fair competition. The industry is urging sheep producers to contact their Senators and voice support for a Section 201 trade investigation.

Lawmakers must sign a “Dear Colleague” letter by tomorrow.

The effort is being led by Congressman Doug LaMalfa, Chair of the Western Caucus.
