Battling border concerns, the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association announced that it is forming a Border Security Task Force to address safety concerns from illegal border crossings.
The group says that ranchers are facing theft, burglaries, damaged infrastructure, and armed intimidation. A spokesperson for the group says, “As Texas moves forward in addressing this problem in the absence of the federal government, I would urge continued collaboration between everyone involved.”
