NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 12, 2024) - Stone Country Records artist Ben Gallaher today dropped an acoustic version of his high-octane, viral sensation, “Stomp.” The new track, “Stomp (Front Porch),” is a stripped-down version of the swampy, backwoods anthem born out of a Gallaher guitar riff that grabbed the attention of fans and celebrities alike.
“This acoustic version of ‘Stomp’ encapsulates what it means to be proud of your own stomping grounds. It’s about staying true to your roots and not being afraid to show it. It’s guitar pickin’, backroads and dirt on your boots. It’s patriotism. The kind of kickback you want to be part of. A way to say, ‘we’re proud of the ground we stomp,’” says Gallaher.
“Stomp,” recently became a viral sensation, with stars such as Kristin Chenoweth and Russell Dickerson lauding his artistry, a feat also noted by People. To-date, the “Viral Stomp Riff” has earned Gallaher over 32.4 million social views and nearly a quarter of a million Instagram followers.
Written by Gallaher alongside hit songwriters Neil Thrasher, Patrick Thrasher and Wendell Mobley, “Stomp” was spotlighted on SiriusXM The Highway’s On The Horizon. Both “Stomp” and “Stomp (Front Porch)” were produced by Neil Thrasher and Patrick Thrasher.
