The Gibson Brothers have been recording music for four decades, and are one of the most successful duos in bluegrass. They are award-winning musicians who have a connection like none other. After all, they are brothers!

They are coming off their release of a new genre-spanning album, Darkest Hour, which is produced by Jerry Douglas. The album includes guest musicians like Justin Moses, Guthrie Trapp, and Alison Krauss.

They spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander about how their background in dairy influenced their music, their new album and what it was like having Jerry Douglas in studio, and the songwriting experience.

They also stuck around to perform their song, “One Minute Of You.”
