Brazilian corn, soy exports see record month in October

Brazil has long been the world’s leading exporter of both corn and soybeans.

Brazil had a record month for corn and soybean exports in October.

The South American country’s soybean shipments reached 5.5 million metric tons in October while corn shipments totaled 8.5 million.

Last year at this time, soybean exports were up about 45 percent and corn 24 percent.
