Bringing the 4th of July spirit to local veterans

In Kearney, Nebraska, community members came together to honor their local war heroes.

The 3rd annual Patriot Parade is specifically for The Central Nebraska Veterans’ Home residents.

A local news source reported that organizers said is important to bring this event to the residents as they are not able to go out and enjoy other 4th of July parades.

In attendance was everything from tractors, to fancy cars, and to first responders’ vehicles.
