California rancher shares her story on dealing with the West Coast wildfires

As wildfires continue burning across the west, ag producers seek safety. For the third time in four year, Butte County rancher Megan Brown recently had to evacuate her land.

Megan speaks with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender on what the conditions are like in her region and the impact of the fires.

According to Brown, “A fellow cattleman lost almost 400 head of his herd; it pretty much devastated him. It’s been really awful, and it’s hard to prepare for and it’s hard to tell what’s going to happen with these fires they’re so big and massive and create their own weather pattern. So, it’s definitely impacting our region heavily.”

California farmers left to battle wildfires on their own.
